Education

Dr Rawad Samarani graduated as Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1998, and in 2002 he graduated in Periodontology from the Saint-Joseph University of Beirut. In 2013, he obtained from the same university a Master of Research.

Since 2002, he is a membet of the Periodontlogy Department of the Saint-Joseph University where he is currently a senior lecturer and a clinical intructor. In 2019 he was appointed director of the "Advanced Implant Surgery Diploma".

Professional

He Published 15 papers in international peer-reviewed journals including the international Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The Journal of Oral Implantolog, the European Journal of Implantolog, the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the Journal of Maxillofocial Surgery. In 2019, he authored a textbook chapter titled "Revisiting Guided Bone Regeneration in the Esthetic Zone" published by Wiley-Blackwell.

Dr Samarani is an international speaker, he is lecturing and giving courses in many countries on guided bone regeneration, full-arch implant rehabilitation and immediate implantation in the esthetic zone. He has trained hundreds of dentists in different parts of the world.
