Dr. Neil graduated from Newcastle Dental School in 1995 and after a further professional postgraduate training programme gained a Diploma of General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1998.

Dr. Neil believes in a patient-centered approach and has a passionate interest in oral-systemic links, put simply how your mouth and its health can affect your general health and many prevalent conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and more.

A member of the European Association for Sports Dentistry, Dr. Neil was a speaker at the FIFA/ECOSEP congress in Dubai in December 2017 and is part of a growing network of dentists worldwide working with elite athletes and teams, improving their performance through better oral health and providing vital protection from trauma and injury.

A passionate supporter of Newcastle United Football Club, Dr Neil regularly gives his views on all things football on the NUFC Matters YouTube Channel and has been heard on Dubai Eye Radio. He sometimes talks teeth as well.

Dr Neil is excited to bring his years of experience and his own relaxed, honest approach to dental care to the team at Park Avenue. Apologies in advance if he’s running late, someone has probably got him talking football!
